Adult Social Day Program (The Carriage Room)

The Carriage Room at Edgewood is open 7 days a week, from 8am until 8pm.

Social, Health and Recreation services are provided for persons 62 and older. Participants interact socially with peers, share in stimulating activities, and receive assistance with activities of daily living. All activities are provided within a supervised, structured environment and are designed to meet the needs of the physically and/or cognitively impaired or socially isolated. Every hour there are 2-3 activities offered based on the unique interest of each individual.

The Program is under the direction of Registered Nurses who are Board Certified in Gerontology. There is daily support from a Licensed Social Worker and a ratio of 1 staff to 6 clients. The program runs 365 days/year.

With dignity and respect we nurture the human spirit. All staff are trained in Alzheimer's Association In-service workshops.
